Once you decide to list your home for sale, you need to start thinking about making it presentable to prospective buyers. One of your first concern should be your home's exterior. In other words the "curb appeal" of you home. This means the overall look of the home and the landscaping you will see when you dive up to your property.

Remember first impressions are everything! People will want to see what's inside the house if the outside looks good. Other wise they may just want to dive on to the next home on their list. Or if they do go inside then they will still have to get past a bad first impression, unlikely.

Make sure all Trim trees, shrubs and plant are trimmed and appealing. Make the front door area have a "Welcome" feeling. A fresh paint on the front door helps this look.

You want your home to look as roomy as possible, store any very large or excess furniture. Counter tops, dressers, tables and closets should be free of clutter, picture frames and nick-knacks.
